Craig Seager and his death

Watching Rachel Nichols report his death live on the air made me think of a few things:  Today we lost a sports journalist who was well loved by every person  he came in contact with.  It taught me that life is fragile, enjoy every moment.

It also brought me back to my sophmore year of college.  The night I had to phone my roomate telling him that our friend had died.  He was at work, and I never call him at work, but told him he should sit down.  Our friend was killed by a drunk driver going the wrong way on the highway.

Life is beautiful, life is short...embrace life

Yes I just saw that on the news. He was known for his colorful wardrobe. He only lasted 2 years with leukemia. But got back to work in 2015 so good for him. Cancer is a bastard!  So sorry you lost your friend to a drunk driver. That had to be the most horrible call to make. I lost a very good friend the same way.Drunk was driving on the wrong side of the highway. My friend even had his seatbeat on. He was only in his early twenties.  It stinks..
