What Do You Think of Former "America's Mayor" Rudy Giuliani being sued for $10M for Sexual Harassement?

From what I have understood, Rudy was supposed to pay this girl off the books, $1M/year to be his sex slave/secretary. Evidently she never got paid and now she's suing for sexual harassment. As far as I am aware illegal contracts like agreeing to be another's slave are illegal. Off-the-book contracts are also unenforceable. I feel she set herself up by agreeing to in the first place. So I don't know where this is going. Do you?

I would say it is pretty much reliant on the language of whatever contract or agreement was signed by the two parties.

Further, this will be a civil lawsuit, I think, rather than a criminal one, so the rules of evidence are not as stringent, from what I know of the system.  However, you're correct:  if the contract or agreement is patently illegal on its face, then she's out of luck.  

Again, though, she can sue him for harassment, failure to pay her as a secretary for the legal work she did, etc.

Thanks. I wasn't thinking of the secretarial work she did. I don't know if any documents were signed. Evidently he did pay her 12K in cash.

I can't even think about it without my skin crawling. Legal, illegal, there is not enough money in the world that would make me want to be within 100 feet of Guiliani's penis.

This reminds me of the ages old joke:

Any woman stupid enough to agree to an arrangement such as this must have the IQ of a piss ant.

At what point did she realize it was basically a set-up to be used?

Did she think if she complied with all his wants and desires she would actually receive the 1 million? Or that he would leave his wife?

Or is this a shakedown for the 10 million?

She actually complied with giving oral sex while he was on the phone with Trump and other powerful people?

The whole deal sounds fishy to me.

But not because Rudy Giuliani is above reproach…

I agree. What did she think she was going to do if Rudy didn't pay her? Report him to the IRS for not paying taxes on his slave? Nothing about this lawsuit makes any sense.

The other thing about this lawsuit that doesn't make sense is that she met Rudy because she was suing her husband in divorce court over "Mental Cruelty," the very thing she is accusing Rudy of. lol
